300g almond paste
2 Tbsp. flour
2 Tbsp. rum
3/4dl granulated sugar
Grate the almond paste with a cheese grater. Beat the eggs. Mix together the almond paste, eggs, and flour until it is smooth. Pour the batter into a greased and floured round cake pan and bake on the lower rack of the oven for about 35 minutes at 175 degrees Celcius. Let the cake cool.
Press the juice out of the two oranges and put it into a sauce pan. Add to the pan the zest of one of the oranges along with the rum and sugar. Cook over medium heat , letting it bubble but not boil, until it thickens (about 5 min.). Cool slightly then pour over the top of the cooled cake.
Cut the grapes in half length-wise and arrange on top of the cake.
